Describe how a manually adjustible nozzle works
A manually adjustable nozzle has a number of constant flow settings allowing the FF to select a flow rate that best suits the existing conditions. The nozzle supplies the selected flow rate at the rated nozzle discharge pressure. If the DO is unable to deliver the proper pressure the actual flow will differ than that indicated at the nozzle. This is designed to work at a pressure of 100psi at the nozzle but the DO must know the flow setting of the nozzle in order to properly supply the hoseline and nozzle
