Divisible

When a number can be divided, without
a remainder, by another number. |

Divisible by 2
|
A number is divisible by 2 if
it is an even number. (ends in 2,4,6,8 or 0) |

Divisible by 3
|
A number is divisible by 3 if the sum of digits
is divisible by 3. ex. 246 is divisible because the sum of digits (2+4+6=12) can be divided by 3 |

Divisible by 4
|
The number is divisible by 4 if:
a) last two digits are zero OR b) last two digits can be divided by 4 |

Divisible by 5
|
The number is divisible by 5 if the
one's digit is 0 or 5. ex. 295 and 320 are both divisible by 5 |

Divisible by 6
|
The number is divisible by 6
if it is even OR divisible by 3. |
