Data
Are pieces of information that represent the qualitative or quantitative attributes of a variable or set of variables.
Deductive reasoning
Sometimes called deductive logic, is reasoning which constructs or evaluates deductive arguments.
Inductive reasoning
Sometimes called inductive logic, is reasoning which takes us "beyond the confines of our current evidence or knowledge to conclusions about the unknown.
Observation
Is either an activity of a living being (such as a human), consisting of receiving knowledge of the outside world through the senses, or the recording of data using scientific instruments.
Science
Any systematic knowledge-ase or prescriptive practice that is capable of resulting in a prediction or predictable type of outcome.
Truth
Has a variety of meanings, from honesty, good faith, and sincerity in general, to agreement with fact or reality in particular.
Pure science

Particular tendency or inclination, esp. one that prevents unprejudiced consideration of a question; prejudice.
