Midsagittal

Plane is the plane that divides the body into equal right and left halves.It is also called the median plane and midline.sag

Sagittal

Plane is the plane that divides the body into unequal parts on the right and left.

Dorsal plane

Is the plane that divides the body into dorsal ( back) and ventral (belly) parts.

Transverse Plane

Is the plane that divides the body into cranial and caudal parts. It is also called the cross- sectional plane.

Means closure of a joint angle, or reduction of the angle between two bones. Contracting your biceps involves flexing your biceps.

Means the straightening of a joint or an increase in the angle between two bones. You extend your hand for a handshake.
