Fasting glucose > 6mmol/L but <7mmol/L
Diagnosis acromegaly
Normal people OGTT results in fall GH so they are usually undetectable i.e. <0.5mmol/L

If > 2mmol/L then Acromegaly
Diagnosing diabetes insipidus
Urine osmolality is usually tightly controlled between 285-295mOsmol/kg

In DI osmolality is usually low < 400mOsmol and cannot be concentrated therefore early morning urine testing is best test
