Uses: scabies, lice, nits

Adverse Effects: tremors, seizures, ventricular fibrillation, nausea, vomiting, kidney damage (chronic inhalation)
Blackbox warning: premature neonate, inflammation of skin, abrasions or breaks in skin
Education: wash all clothing & bedding, itching may occur for 4-6 weeks, do not apply to face

Theraputic outcome: decreased redness, swelling & pain
Adverse reaction: burning
Teaching: do not let med come in contact with eyes; discontinue use when condition improves
