Bell stage

4: histodifferentiation and histomorphodifferentiation. Enamel organ is bell shaped and most cells are called stellate reticulum

Dental Lamina stage

1 (occurs simultaneously with bud stage): oral epithelium has a basal and surface layer of cells

Hertwig's root sheath/ root formation

Step 5: formed by Union of inner and outer enamel epithelial. Molds shape of the roots. Initiates Dentin formation.

What direction do teeth develop?

Enamel organ

Derived from ectoderm

Made by ameoblasts
