1- nation boards part one- basic sciences (8 hour, multiple choice)
2- national boards part two- dental sciences (taken at end of third year. 8 hour test)
3- state or regional board exam--clears the way for you to apply for your license in the state you want to practice in. Is partly written and partly practical. Lasts 3 days. Can cost $5000 or more)

stay in top 10% of class.
