The listing of all the cases of a noun, or adjective is called a declension.
Gender of First Declension
The Gender of the first declension is FEMININE
Like English, Latin distinguishes three genders; masculine, feminine, and neuter.

Nouns of the first Declension are normally feminine, ie:
-Puella
-Rosa
-pecunia
-patria
Agreement of Adjectives
-The normal role of adjectives is to accompany nouns and to modify, or limit them in size, texture, colour, character and so on.
An adjective MUST agree with it's noun in gender, number and case
