What are the similiarities and differences btwn SI19 & ST7?
1) They are both near the condyloid process of the mandible. 2) SI19 is btwn the tragus and the condyloid-p, while ST7 is at the lower border of the zygomatic arch (in the depression anterior to the condyloid). ST7 is on the same longitude but more medial than SI19.
What are the similiarities and differences btwn ST3 and SI18?
1) They are both on the face and use the eye as location methods, 2) ST3 uses the mid point of the eye and the lateral naso-labial groove. SI18 uses the outer canthus in the depression at the lower border of the zygomatic bone.
What are the similiarities and differences btwn SI16 and LI17?
1) They are both points posterior to the SCM, 2) SI16 is level with the laryngeal prominance, hile LI17 is 1c inferior to LI18 (on the prominence level but btwn the 2 heads).
What are the similiarities and differences btwn SI16, LI18, ST9?
1) They are all points level with the laryngeal prominance. 2) SI16 is on the posterior border of the SCM, LI18 is btwn the sternal and clavicular heads, ST9 is an the anterior depression of the SCM.
What are the similiarities and differences btwn LI13 and LU3?
1) They both are on the borer of the biceps bracii and the humoral shaft. 2) LI13 is 3c proximal to LI11 in the cubital crease, while LU3 is 3c inferior to the axillary fold.
What are the similiarities and differences btwn LU5, HT3, LI11?
1) They are all points on the cubital crease. LU5 is on the RADIAL side of the biceps bracii tendon, HT3 is at the MEDIAL end of the crease (when flexed), LI11 is midway btwn LU5 and the LATERAL epicondyle of the humerous.
What are the similiarities and differences btwn SI5 and LI5?
1) They are both points near the wrist visible from the LATERAL forearm. 2) SI5 is on the ULNAR border of the wrist, LI5 is on the RADIAL side of the wrist (in the hollow formed by two tendons, extensor pollicis longus and brevis; aka. In the anatomical snuffbox).
What are the similiarities and differences btwn LU9 and HT7?
1) They are both points visible from the MEDIAL forearm, at the wrist joint in a depression at the proximal border of the pisiform bone. 2) LU9 is btwn the radial artery and the abductor pollicis longus tendon, HT7 is on the RADIAL side of the flexor carpi ULNARIS.
What are the similiarities and differences btwn SI17 and LI17?
1) They are both points 5c proximal to the wrist on the LATERAL forearm. 2) SI7 is on the ULNAR side of the in the groove btwn the border of the ulna an dthe flexor carpi ulnaris muscle belly, while LI7 is on the line connecting LI11 and LI5.
What are the similiarities and differences btwn SP15, ST25?
1) They are both points lateral with the umbilicus. 2) ST25 is 2c lateral to the umbilicus while SP15 is in the depression at the lateral border of the rectus abdominus muscle.
What are the similiarities and differences btwn ST34 and SP10?
1) They are both 2c above the patella. 2) ST34 is 2c at a 45 degree lateral angle proximal to the patella (in line with the ASIS), while SP10 is 2c at a more medial angle on the bulge of the vastus medialis muscle.
What are the similiarities and differences btwn SI3 and LI4?
1) They both are proximal to the heads of metacarpal bones. 2) SI3 is on the ULNAR border of the hand using the 5th metacarpal bone, while LI4 is at the midpoint of the 2nd metacarpal bone close to the RADIAL border.
What are the similiarities and differences btwn SI2 and LI2?
1) They both are distal to the metacarpo-phalangeal JOINT. 2) SI2 is on the ulnar border of the pinky, while LI2 is on the radial border of the index finger.
