Supernatural: Gods and devils where believed to cause disease as the church was heavily influential. Natural: They believed that bad airs would cause disease and therefore would wear flowers to spell better. Astrology: They believed in star signs and stat the alignment of the stars could cause disease. |

Leech Doctors: They would perform bleeding and aputations but they were good for there times as the anglo saxons encouraged wars meaning there were lots of casualties. Females in the Family: Women in the family would pass down knowledge to cure general illness and use herbal remedies such as honey. Hospitals: Hospitals are non existent. |

There was basically no public health because the anglo saxons invested most there money into war and not into public health. They also didn't understand that germs existed and how to be clean. |
