What is Identity Theft?
When someone steals your information and pretends to be you.
Why shouldn't you use your credit card to buy things off of a unprotected website?
Because someone can get your credit number and spend your money.

No, because if someone gets that number they can act as you with anything.

1. Call the police.

No. It will most likely be a scam and they will steal your money.

Because then you do not have to carry around your social security card and take the chance of loosing it or someone stealing it.

Cut them up into small pieces and throw them away.

Have them call you if there is a purchase over a certain amount, or if there is a purchase in a different state.

Local banks because they have less customers to watch out for than a national bank.

Cancel them.
