Clinical Presentation of Acute Pericarditis

1. Chest Pain: sharp, intermittent or persisten, worse on inspiration and on laying down
2. Fever 3. Dyspnea, not related to hypoxia or exertion: caused by pain on deep inspiration 4.Hallmark pericardial friction rub, harsh sound , 3 components, systole; late and early diastole 5. abnormal EKG, typically ST elevationsj can be confused with and acute MI |
