Abducens. Motor. Lateral deviation of eye.

Vagus. Sensory and motor. Controls motor larynx, pharynx and palate. Sensory Pharynx and larynx. Open mouth and movement of uvula, position, swallow and speech.

Facial. Motor and sensory TASTE ANTERIOR TONGUE. Face at rest/frown/screw up eyes/show teeth and puff of cheeks. SAY: I WOULD TEST ANTERIOR TONGUE.

Glossopharyngeal. Motor- pharynx. Sensory- eardrum, canal, pharynx, taste posterior tongue. Taste test posterior gag reflex and rise of pharynx.

Hypoglossal. Motor. tongue. Tinge symmetry fasciculation and strengh- stick tongue in side of mouth and push against it.

Cranial Nerve 5?

Trigeminal. Sensory and motor. Temporal/masseter muscles. Ophthalmic maxiallary, mandibular muscles- clench jaw and feel temporal and massater muscles.



Ophthalmic, maxillary and mandibular sensation- soft and sharp.
