Athetosis

slow, involuntary, writhing, twisting, worm-like movements; greater involvement in the distal upper extremities

Dystonia

involves sustained involuntary contractions of agonist and antagonist muscles causing abnormal posturing or twisting movements; prolonged involuntary movement disorder characterized by twisting or writhing repetitive movements and increased muscular tone; lesions in the basal ganglia

Chorea

involuntary, rapid, irregular, and jerky movements involving multiple joints; most apparent in UE, cannot be voluntarily inhibited; associated with huntington's disease

Ataxia

loss of muscle coordination as a result of cerebellar pathology; inability to perform coordinated movements

Dysmetria

inability to make a movement of the appropriate distance; inability to judge distance or range of a movement

Dysiadokinesia

impaired ability to perform rapid alternating movements; movements are irregular, with a rapid loss of range and rhythm especially as speed is increased
