Plasma

Liquid part of blood.


Carries dissolved foods to the cells in your body.

Red blood cells

Makes 40% of your blood. Carries oxygen to all the cells in your body. Made in your blood marrow. They live for about 100 to 120 days. Makes 1/2 cups of RBC's everyday. It contains hemoglobin.

White blood cells

Make up small percentage of blood lives in nucleus. Made in the spleen and lung nodes. They also make Antibodies.

Platelets

Formed from bone cells in bone marrow. Their not living cells. Helps your blood clot. Uses fibrin.
