The USSR's Aims: |
-Stalin wanted security for the USSR and reparations. The USSR had 'borne the brunt' of German aggressions. Suffering loses of 25 million people by May 1945. Stalin wanted to integrate Poland, Bulgaria, and Romania under its influence. The majority of E.European states would act as neutral states between the Soviet Bloc and the West. |
