Police can search your automobile or effects if there is reasonable suspicion that illegal activity has occured. Does not apply to the home. |

Double Jeopardy |
Forbids government from prosecuting someone more than once for a crime where one has already been either convicted or acquitted. |

Defendant must be informed of charges against them and allowed to question a judge about why they are being detained. |
