Industrial growth lead to urbanization in the US because people were looking for jobs. Industries were drawn to cities because cities offered good transportation and plentiful workers. Increasing number of factory jobs appeared, and more workers to fill those jobs. Many of the people who moved to American cities were immigrants who migrated from America's farms to get better jobs.
