Emergency Bus Items
Com 1
Nav 2
Co-pilot's HSI
Floodlights
Red AC Fail annunciator light
Indicates power loss from an inverter. Automatic switch over to the other inverter occurs. Non-memory checklist
Red Battery Overtemp Light
Memory checklist:
Check amperage
Battery to EMER
Check amperage
Red Cabin Altitude Light
Memory checklist:
O2 masks on and 100% O2
MIC O2 mask
Emergency descent as required
Red Oil Press Warn Light
Non-memory. Check gauge, go to checklist for what to do at different oil pressures.
Amber Fuel Low Level Light
Fuel quantity is down to 185 pounds or less.
Amber Fuel Low Presure Light
Fuel boost pump should activate automatically.
Amber Hyd Flow Low light
Indicates inoperative pump or pumps. If both pumps are inoperative refer to Hydraulic Failure checklist.
Amber Engine Anti-Ice light
If continuously illuminated, check N2 over 60%.
Amber Ice Fluid Pump Fail
Advisory. The surface pump will supply fluid for all surfaces.
Amber GEN OFF light
Indicates the generator power relay is open.
Amber Inverter Fail 1 and 2
In conjunction with the red AC FAIL light, tells which inverter failed.
Amber EMERG PRESS ON
Indicates air cycle machine shutdown or failure.
Amber BLD AIR GND light
The pressurization source selector is in GND position allowing more air to the ACM. Advancing power beyond 72% causes the valve to close, prohibiting too much air going to the ACM.
Amber POWER BRAKES LOW PRESS
Brake system pressure has dropped.
Amber FUEL FLTR BYPASS light
Possible power loss might occur. If it comes on at high altitude, probably ice crystals.
Amber TAIL ICE FAIL light
A pressure witch in the line between the tail proportioner and each horizontal stabilizer panel monitors each individual panel and illuminates the TAIL ICE FAIL light if the pressure falls too low.
White SPEED BRAKE EXTEND light
Speedbrakes on both wings are fully extended.
Amber AIR DUCT O'HEAT light
Air duct temperature is more than 157 degrees C. Most likely a large demand on the system for heat and most of the air is bypassing the cooling function of the ACM.
Amber ACM O'PRESS light
This malfunction should only occur on the ground with the GROUND selected with the pressurization source selector, the primary pressure switch has failed, and the right throttle is advanced beound approximately 74% N2.
Amber ANTI-SKID INOP light
Either the switch is off, or there is a fault in the system. If the brake system pressure drops below 750 psi, the ANTI-SKID INOP and the PWR BRK PRESS LO annunciators both illuminate.
Amber DOOR NOT LOCKED light
Indicates unlocked/unlatched nose or tailcone doors, failure or improper position of one or more door switches, and/or possible disengagement of the lower forward cabin door pin.
Abmber F/W SHUT OFF light
Operated by engine fire push switches. All electrical, fuel, and hydraulic systems are closed at applicable firewall.
Amber ICING DETECTED light
Ice has been detected. Turn on ice protection.
Amber W/S AIR O'HEAT light
Windshield bleed air is over 146 degrees C or, with the windshield heat OFF, the light activates if 5 psi pressure is sensed in the duct.
Amber AOA HEATER FAIL
If it comes on by itself, power to the Angle of Attack heater has failed.
Amber ICE FLD LOW light
Indicates approximately 20 minutes of surface and engine anti-ice protection available.
Green ICE FLD SYS ON light.
TKS system has been activated.
