Heart
The most important organ in the body. It beats continually about 80 beats per minute.
atrium
the upper chambers of the heart,which collect blood from the veins and pump it to the lower chambers of the heart.
ventricle
the lowr chambers of the heart,which pumps the blood to the lungs
heart valve
opening between chambers of the heart that only open one-way.(like a door)
tricuspid valve
opens from the right atrium into the right ventricle.(right side of the heart)
pulmonary valve
Opens from the right ventricle into the pulmonary artery.(lungs)
mitral valve
opens from the left atrium into the left ventricle.(left side of the heart)
aortic valve
opens from the left ventricle into the aorta.(body)
septum
a thick wall of muscle between the left and right side of the heart.

many tubs which carry the blood throughout the body.
arteries
blood vessels which carry blood away from the heart.they are larger and closer to the heart.
Capillaries
the tiniest blood vessels which connect the arteries with the veins.
veins
blood vessels which carry blood to the heart.they have valves in them to keep blood flowing in one direction

the body's largest artery
