What does a FF do when someone walks in to the station to report an emergency?
It is the Firefighters duty to gather all pertinent information from the individual and relay all information to the Officer on shift – this information is relayed to dispatch which then involves the necessary agencies for the incident.

Automatic Call Distribution Phone System - this is what routes calls in an orderly way to call evaluators, who in turn type the info into the computer. This system also shows caller info, tracks statistics, etc.
What are some of the interfaces of CAD (Computer-aided Dispatch)?
1. Radio interface 2. Dispatch interface 3. Clock interface (ensures times are accurate) 4. MPS interface (previously I-mobile) 5. I-tracker (gps) 6. I-net-viewer interface (view status of all apparatus)
