Alcohol (CNS Depressant)
**Sx of use: relaxation, loss of inhibition, lack of concentration, drowsiness, slurred speech, sleep. **Sx of overdose: Nausea, vomiting; shallow respirations; cold, clammy skin; weak, rapid pulse; come; possible death. Detox could lead to DEATH!!!!!
Barbituates and nonbarbituates (CNS Depressant)
**Sx of use: relaxation, loss of inhibition, lack of concentration, drowsiness, slurred speech, sleep. **Sx of overdose: Anxiety, fever, agitation, hallucinations, disorietnation, tremors, delerium, convulsions, possible death. Detox may lead to DEATH!!!!
Anphetamines (CNS Stimulant)
**Sx of use: hyperactivity, agitation, euphoria, insomnia, loss of appetite. **Sx of overdose: Cardiac arrhythmias, headache, convulsions, hypertension, rapid heart rate, coma, possible death.
Cocaine (CNS Stimulant)
**Sx of use: Euphoria, hyperactivity, restlessness, talkativeness, increased pulse, dilated pupils, rhinitis. **Sx of overdose: Hallucinations, convulsions, pulmonary edema, respiratory failure, coma, cardiac arrhythmias, possible death.
Opioids (CNS stimulant)
**Sx of use: Euphoria, lethargy, drowsiness, lack of motivation, constricted pupils. **Sx of overdose: Shallow breathing, slowed pulse, clammy skin, pulmonary edema, respiratory arrest, convusions, coma, possible death.
Hallucinogens (CNS Stimulant)
**Sx of use: Visual hallucination, disorientation, confusion, paranoid delusions, euphoria, anxiety, panic, increased pulse. **Sx of overdose: Agitation, extreme hyperactivity, violence, hallucinations, psychosis, convulsions, possible death.
Cannabinols (CNS Stimulant)
**Sx of use: Relaxation, talkativeness, lowered inhibitions, euphoria, mood swings. **Sx of overdose: Fatigue, paranoia, delusions, hallucinations, possible psychosis.
