Mass
Is the quanity of "matter" in any material
Scientific Method
The general process by which we have been able to transmit and advance scientific knowledge and information from one generation to the next.
Classifications of "Matter" are what?
Physical State or Chemical Composition
Physical State or Form is what?
Solid, Liquid,and Gases
Chemical Composition (Constituents) is what?
Pure Substance or Mixture
Describe what a "Solid" is ?
It does have rigidity and also have a defenite volume and shape.
what is a "liquid"?
It is some what rigidity (more fluid) and has define volume, but no define shape only taking on the shape of the container that it is in.
What is a "gas"?
It is very Fluidity , not having no define volume and shape. always taking the shape and volume of the container. very expansive and compressed
Pure Substance is what?
any matter thats can not be more decomposed into any other substance.
Elements?
It is the simplest pure substance that can not be seprated by any ordinary physical or chemical process.
Compound?
are pure substance form, from the chemical reactions of two or more elements. Compound can be decomposed back to element.
Mixture?
any material formed from 2 or more substance having variable composition and "NO" chemical bonding.
Homogeneous Mixture?
any mixture in which, all the parts are uniform through-out forming one complete material.
Heterogeneous Mixture
any mixture in which all the parts retain their unique separate identites. Forming seprate layes and parts.
