Confarreatio - used by patricians. Cake made of flour called far. Priest - PRONUBA, senior women relative, usually an aunt.
Coemptio - This was like the sale of a bride to the grooms family. During the empire, it fell out of fashion

The doors closed and only close family were allowed in. In the atrium the groom offered the bride fire and water in token of their life together. The bride lit the marriage torch with the fire and threw it to the guests and then recited a prayer.
