THis prevents any one branch of govern from becoming to powerful.
Checks and Balances
Gives each branch the power to restrain the other branchs power.
Impeachment
The ability of the house of representatives to remove the president from office if he is guilty of treason, bribery, or other high crimes.
Veto
The power of the president to rejects bills passed by Congress although another 2/3 vote could override the presidents veto.
Override
The power congress has to override the presidents veto by a 2/3s vote
Elastic Clause
This clause gave the Constitution more flexibility.
