Agoraphobia

2+ of the following: fear of being in open spaces, being in enclosed spaces, standing in line/crowds, public transportation, and being away from home alone.

Generalized anxiety disorder

6+ months of excessive worry about several concerns. 3 or more of these (1 if child): easily fatigued, restlessness, muscle tension, disturbed sleep, trouble concentrating, irritable

Specific Phobia

Unreasonable fear of an object/situation that interferes with ability to function.

Types of Phobias

Blood injection injury, situational (trains, planes, automobiles), natural environment (storms, heights, water), animal, other (e.g. illness, germs, chocking)

Social anxiety disorder

Fear of being in front of people and being evaluated.

Childhood anxiety disorder

Seperation anxiety disorder and selective mutism

Fear of being separated from caregiver.

Wont speak around others although able to do so.

PTSD

Exposure to actual or threatened death, serious injury, or sexual violence. 1+ month of intrusion symptoms (trauma memories, dreams, flashbacks, or physical reactions to memory triggers), avoidance of remembering, and negative mood from trauma memories.

Delayed expression PTSD

Onset occurs 6+ months after initial trauma.

Obsessive Compulsive disorder

Obsessions: intrusive cognitive images


- Aggression, contamination, sexual, somatic concerns, need for symmetry


Compulsions: mental or behavioral; neutralize anxiety
