Olive Branch Petition
This petition was a resort to avoid war with great britian.
It was in hope for the king to prevent future conflict with the colonies but failed.
It was adopted by the continential congress in july 1775 and got rejected by the king.
Prohibitory Act
It was establishe by the brittish for the generals rebellion.
this provided naval blockade against american ports and closed american oversea trade.
An apology from the rebels was all that was needed to stop this naval block.
