What are the Expressed powers?
|
power directly stated in the constitution to prevent abuse of power but make sure laws weren't repressive or endangering liberty

What are the Enumerated Powers?
|
expressed powers of congress itemized in article I, Section 8

What are the First Five Enumerated Powers?
|
Economic Legislature- levy taxes, borrow money, to regulate commerce, to coin money, punishing counterfeiting.

They often reach a gridlock becauase the can' agree so theres a crappy compromise or nothing.
