What is the difference between ROM and RAM?
RAM (random access memory) is temporary memory that stores new data and is only available when the comp0uter is on. ROM (read only memory) is permanent internal memory that is stored inside the the system and can't be accessed by the user.
How many bits (smallest unit of binary information) makes up a byte?
Eight bits make a byte which are can be represented in one alphabetic or one numeric character of information, like A,B,C or 1,2,3.

Keyboards, scanner, graphics table, digital cameras, microphone, PDAs, and electronic whiteboards.

What is the difference between Inkjet printers and Laser printers?
Inkjet printers produce characters by squirting minute amounts of ink on the paper. Laser printers put the ink on the paper but using a laser beam and produce the highest quality of printing.
What is resolution and a pixel and how are they related?
Resolution is the clarity of the image on the screen. Pixels are single colored squares on the screen that make an image on the screen. The resolution is measured by the number of pixels in a row vertically and horizontally.
Name three different types of storage devices.
Floppy disks, Zip disks, Compact disks, and USB drives.
