What are the three functions of the computer system?
1) Receive information as the user inputs it

What is the difference between RAM and ROM?
Ram is temporary memory that is designed to hold new data and only available while the computer is on.
Rom is permanent internal memory inside the system, is inaccessible by the user, and is used to store the instructions that are installed or programmed at the manufacturer.

Bits are the smallest unit of binary information.
Bytes are made up of 8 bits and represent a single character.
