The american indians were told that if they moved to reservations they would get some money and the right to the land forever. And supplies for 30 years. but they never got any of those thing at all.

Alot of the indians refused to live on reservations because it was an importance to their cultures of following the roaming buffalo herds caused them to reject the restrictions of settled life.

the sand creek Massacre shocked many Americans because they said that it was justified that they could kill as many Indians as they wanted because god was on their side. Many of the Indians moved to reservation because they were promised all of this stuff but after they got there they didn't get any of the promised land or any of the good.

The bravery of sitting bull was a great accomplishment to the Indians. The Americans didn't see that the Indians were that good at fighting until this day at little bighorn were the Indians killed all of the Americans.
