Emotion
A positive or negative reaction to a perceived or remembered object, event or circumstance, accompanied by a subjective feeling
James- Lange theory

The Schacter-Singer Experiment
Participants are told they are receiving a vitamin supplement, they actually receive epinephrine shot(adrenaline). Half wait with ‘manic’ confederates. Half wait with angry confederates. They were give a form asking what their mood was (dependent variable). Responses were “I feel happy” or “I feel angry. They based it on context
Facial Feedback Hypothesis
