Réflechir requires the preposition à before a noun when it is used in the sense of to consider, to think about, or to reflect upon (something).

Réussir requires the prepostion à before an infinitive or before the noun in the expression réussir à un examen (to pass an exam).. Passer un examen" means "to take an exam."
