What is baptism

Baptism is a sacrament, wherein the washing of water in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit signifies and seals our ingrafting into Christ, our partaking of the benefits of the covenant of grace (remission of sin, regeneration, adoption, resurrection of life, etc.) and our engagment to be the Lords



All baptized into one body (the visible church) 1 Cor 12:13.
