it uses easily obtained data, the criteria is not vague, it's easy to apply, and it decides the earth unto realistic relations.
What is the temp. and precipitation of humid tropical (A) climates?
temp.- warm; small temp. range throughout the year
precipitation- generally wet
What are some subclimates of climate A?
Wet- precipitation all year; often has rainforests
Wet + Dry- wet season and dry season; often has savannahs
What is the temp. and precipitation if Dry (B) climates?
temp.- warm or cold
precipitation- more evaporation than precipitation
What are some subclimates of Climate B?
Arid/Desert- very dry/more dry than semi-arid.
Semi-arid/Steppe- less dry than arid; surrounds the arid regions.
