Amphetamines

|

|

Serotonin receptor agaoists
|
New class of CNS stimulants used to treat migraine headaches; they work by stimulating receptors in the brain and are sometimes referred to as selective serotonin receptor agonists or triptans.

Sympathomimetic drugs
|
CNS stimulants such as noradrenergic drugs, whose actions resemble or mimin those of the sympathetic nervous system.
