Majoirty
must be over 50% of the votes
plurality method
the candidate with the most first place votes wins. doesnt have to be the majoirty.
elimination method
remove the candidate with the most last place votes. and then find the new winner.
condortcet criterion method
see how many times only player comes out on top over the other player.- doesnt have to be majoirty. must win head to head with all the other players to win.
plurality with elimination method
if there is no majority then you eliminate player with least amount of first place votes. recount until you have a majoirty winner. only one set of ballots needed.
pairwise comparison method
a win gets one point a tie gets 1/2 a point and a loss gets one. put players head to head. find out how many sets of matches they will be with n(n-1)/2
