Now we are going to do some work in order to find out if anyone here is a hypochondriac.
Questionnaire description
The questionnaire consists of six questions with three possible responses A, B and C.
Individual reading
I want you to read the questions by yourself and circle the response which is closest to your attitude.

After you have finished as a class we will identify which response suggests your a hypochondriac

(iii)With your group/partner I want you to discuss the three questions and make brief notes about you individual opinions in the group, you don't all have to agree on the answer.
(iv) then we will discuss the answers as a class.
(v) You have about 3 min for the discussion with your group.

(i) Now for the next exercise we are going to do a role play.
First I will split you into groups.
Two groups will be doctors and two groups will be patients
Tables 1 and 2 will be doctors and tables 3 and 4 will be patients
Check instructions.
(i)I am going to give you the descriptions you need for the role play.
(i) First I want you to read the role play individually.
(ii) Each description will give you instructions on what you have to do.
(iii) Then when you have finished I want you to discuss the instructions in your groups and help each other with any problems you might have in the role play.
(iv) You can use a dictionary to help you with phrases and unfamiliar vocabulary but also I will come round the table and answer any questions.
