Rough ER
the rough er has ribosonmes attached to it.it This gives it its texture. the ribosomes manufacture proteins for the cell.
Golgi Apparatus
Resposible for packaging protiens for the cell.
Lysosomes
originate from the golgi apparatus and contain strong digestive enzymes.
Mitochondria
cytoplasmic organells, responsible for atp generation for cellular activties
Organelles
Smaller cellular structures (ribosomes, mitochondria, and more)that perform specific functions for the cell as a whole
Centriole
minute body that is found near the nucelus of the cell; active in cell division.
Cytoplasm
the cellular material surrrounding the nucleus and enlcosed byt he plasma membane.
DNA
nucleic acid found in all living cells.it carries the organisms heridtary information.
RNA
Nucleic acid containg ribose. A, U, G, C. carries dna instructions for prtein sythesis.
Plasma Membrane
Membrane composed of 3 lamina layers, that encloses cell contents; outer limiting cell membrane
