Experiment: How to use a light microscope |
1. Plug the microscope in & then on the light. 2. Turn the rotating nosepiece to fix the low-power objective lens in place. 3. Place the sample on the slide & place the slide on the stage 4. Using the coarse focus wheel, raise the stage up the highest position. 5. While looking through the eyepiece and using the coarse focus wheel, bring the slide into focus. Then use the fine focus wheel. Draw what you see 6. Next, view the specimen under medium & high power |
