Air Brake Checks
|
Parking Brake test: With the bus running, and the parking brake set, put the bus in drive and slightly accelerate. if the bus does not move the parking brake works
service brake test: push in the parking brake, put the bus in drive, and slowly accelerate till the bus moves, then stop the bus leakage rate test: now turn the bus off, turn the electric on, put your foot over the brake and push in the parking brake. Hold the brake down for one minute. after the initial drop, gauge should not drop more than 3 psi in one minute Warning light and buzzer test: now pump the brake, when the gauge reads around 60 psi the warning light and buzzer will go on Pop out test: keep pumping the brake between 20 and 40 psi the parking brake should pop out |

I am finished with my pre trip inspections except for checking the exterior lights, can you please check them for me? the lights i will be checking are in the front: clearance lights, headlights, high beams, right turn signal, left turn signal, and four way flashers.
ON the side of the bus the lights i will be checking are my clearance lights: and mid ship turn signals on the rear of the bus the lights i will be checking are clearance lights, right turn signal, left turn signal, four way flashers, running lights, and brake lights |
