Superior Laryngeal Nerve divides into what?

What do each innervate?

How do they relate?

What nerve does the Superior Laryngeal nerve branch off of?

What is the clinical sign of this nerve disorder?
Large internal laryngeal nerve
-sensory to the laryngeal mucosa above the vocal cords
-Relate: Pierces the thyrohyoid membrane and runs with the superior laryngeal artery

Small external laryngeal nerve (motor)
supplies the cricothyroid muscle and part of the inferior constrictor muscle of the pharynx
Relates: Accomponies the superior thyroid artery

Vagus Nerve

Something wrong with voice quality = vagal nerve disorder
Recurrent Laryngeal Nerve: How does this nerve arise at the left side? Right side?
Left Side: Arises in the thorax and winds around the arch of the around the arch of the aorta behind the attachment of the ligamentum arteriosum

Left side Aorta (LA)

Right Side: Arises from the vagus in front of the first part of the subclavian artery, winds around that vessel, and ascends in the groove between the trachea and esophagus

Right side=subclavian (Real eState)

LA belongs in a Real State
What relates to the recurrent laryngeal nerve?
-Thyroid gland.
-Laryngeal nerve enters the larynx behind the cricothyroid joint
What does the recurrent laryngeal nerve supply?
Motor to all the intrinsic laryngeal muscles except cricothyroid,

Sensory to the laryngeal mucosa below the vocal folds
