Boils

Freq on Head, face, and extremities.
Philtrum Boil. On finger tip: snake head boil. "red-thread boil" if there is a red line from out of boil |

Etiology and Patho of Boils
|
Caused by fatty and spicy food or contamination of skin. Heat in Zang-Fu. Latter is qi and blood stag in skin.
Clear Heat. Move Blood. |

Differentiation of Boils
|
1st appears like a grain of millet in yellow or purple color. A blister or pustule with hard base, tingling. Later, more redness and chills and fever. If interior= high fever, restlessness, dizziness, vomiting, impaired consciousness- reddened tongue with yellow coating. Sometimes red line extends and attacks interior.

Redness, swelling and pain of breast, mostly after delivery.
*begins with lump with swelling, distension, pain, diff lactation, chills, fever, HA, nausea and dire thirst. *intermittent throbbing pain |
