Regarding epilepsy, what is an aura? Ictal period? postictal? interictal period?
-patient MIGHT expierence this before an attack. It is a funny feeling, taste, smell, visual disturbance, auditory disturbance, autonomic signs or symptoms

-seizures occur so frequently that the patient does not recover between events, or a seizure lasting longer than 5 minutes. This is a neurological emregency!!
Which is the most life threatening seizure? What is the treatment for status epilepticus?
-tonic clonic status epilepticus
-Tx: ABCs, monitor vital signs, establish IV site, labs, EEG monitoring..give loazepam
