Anterior shoulder labrum tear when arm gets shoved back (2-5 o clock). Common when shoulders is dislocated.

Bankart Tear

2-10 o clock tear, superior tear in which biceps gets torn and pulls labrum off.

SLAP Tear
|

When nerves become stretched (brachial plexus). Caused by poor tackling technique when head is down, using arms to tackle, and leading with the shoulder. Signs of injury include transient burning, numbness, tingling, and weakness. Can last from 5 minutes to several months.
