DNA

Deoxyribonucleic Acid - A double helix nucleotide molecule containing a phosphate group, a nitrogenous pair, and a sugar (deoxyribose). Contains genetic information from which amino acids are determined.

RNA

Ribonucleic Acid - A nucleic acid that is complementary to the DNA strand. Similar in structure to DNA but contains ribose sugar and uracil instead of thymine.
