Quadrats. Point and frame quadrats. Point quadrats = frame with horizontal bar = long needles through it touch the ground. = plants that touch it are sampled. Frame quadrats . Frame with thread. -> equal sized areas. |

How do you measure species richness ? |
You use the techniques and then use a key ( sometimes with qs or just images) to identify. Then count number of species. |
