What is deposition of the platlet plug followed by?
It is followed by a blood clotin order to construct a strong seal and provide a good foundation

Start with a platlet plug to build an intial barrier.
Activated platlets sectrete the cytokines PDGF, TGF-Beta, EGF, and IL-1 which signal that the need for tissue repair
What does fibrin do?
Provides surface to which thrombin is attached and more platlets can bind and become activated
Fibrin is also involved in fibrinolysis which contributes to te disslution of blood clots
