What is myocardium?
The middle layer of the wall of the heart.
What are valves?
Valves allow blood to flow in one direction. The heart has two kinds: atrioventricular and semilunar

Straw-colored fluid that makes up about 55 percent of blood

Fluid lost by the blood into surrounding tissue
